It was an intresting time indeed but all went well. From what I was told we were the first company to work with scribe to import SF into MS CRM. We had to use a program called Scribe(Not Cheap!) to import our SF data into MS CRM.This was the only tool around at the time. High Priority note!!! make sure tools exist that make importing your data dump from lets say Sugar crm into MS CRM clean and easy.

No matter which CRM program you choose make sure you can do a full custimized unrestricted data dump(most all do). SugarCRM seems to be the favorite with many small groups. If you have none then I would suggest many of the open source CRM sytems avaliable. Over all it depends on budget/money in hand. Over the years they have gone from ACT to Outlook/Exchange then to and now we are currently runing MS CRM. I have been the admin for our companys CRM database for many years. Verify that the values merged correctly and then save this file so it can be reviewed, edited, or printed later.Select "All" in the pop-up window, and click "OK" Going back to the Mail Merge Toolbar, select the icon "Merge to New Document" (4th icon from the right).Click the icon "Propagate Labels" (11th icon from the left.) This will place the merge fields into each of the additional lavel sections.

You can now choose the appropriate merge fields to include in your first label, and insert them into the document.
#LOOSING CONTACTS IN ACT BY SAGE TRIAL#
For your reference, if you do a trial here is the instructions for a mailing list. We dropped CRM 4.0 for it and it actually organized our business beyond what we intended.

I resisted SFA for 2 years but our business is to big to live without it, there is NOTHING on the market that can touch it. In addition to keeping things simple, it should offer them more speed as it would be a lightweight application.Ī simple feature not worth listing on the feature comparison. I understand that the solutions out here are going to be a lot more robust than their needs, but i am trying to keep this as KISS as possible. So, what they need is a very simple program. They then just search, sort, print, and use the lists for e-mail distribution lists. Really, all they have is a list of clients, the client contact information, and that is it.
